German song for Eurovision 1990 with Lyane Leigh in lead vocal.
XANADU was a German group of Schlager, composed of Lyane, David Brandes, Magdalena Getz and Uwe Haselsteiner.
Founded in 1989, the group became famous in the preselection of the Eurovision Song Contest in Germany, with " EIN TRAUM FUR DIESE WELT " which ranked in second place. In the German charts, there will be only 75 th.
Next year they re-offer with title " PALOMA BLUE ", and there still they finish in the second place.
Their first album goes out fast but the group will be never a success.
Songs are signed Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann and produced by Uwe Haselsteiner and Gary Jones.
Lyane was the lead singer of the band. She besides took back the tube of Roxanne : "Charlene " (1985) in German.
